What is all this business about a lockout? I remember when I was a kid, we used to have lockins and occasionally I’d get locked out of the house. Which in any case, I would be sneaking in/out of windows. Today, the word lockout is a disparaging product of two greedy groups that cannot come to terms as far as a collective bargaining agreement goes. All I know is that they better get it together or there will be no money to bicker over. They act like they pay themselves. Like they’re the government or something…
That is just not the case. FANS PAY the exorbitant salaries and keep the lights on in the stadiums. Is it time to entertain the thought of following baseball? Or do we have to dig up the XFL?
